    As the Apprentice Marketing Assistant you will support the department in promotion planning and delivery, customer marketing and supporting our approach in acquisition, retention and events.

     

    Main duties include:

     

    • Working with the Product Marketing lead to help deliver promotions to create awareness and demand.  Involvement in planning, executing, coordinating and monitoring performance and ROI.
    • Working with the Customer Marketing lead to refine our customer database and support the targeted promotions.
    • Working with the Event lead, supporting the various events the group undertakes.
    • Working with the design team with research and design briefs.  Ability to use design software is not essential but would be beneficial.

     

    The Department works as a team so while you will be allocated specific projects and tasks; you will also be expected to be proactive in assisting and contributing to all current activities. 

     

    Training to be provided


    Business and Administration Level 2 Apprenticeship

     

    This apprenticeship is delivered through work based learning, this means that all training is done at the workplace eliminating the need to attend college. The successful candidate will be allocated an assessor who will visit on site every 4-6 weeks and deliver all of the training to gain the qualification and provide the resources to complete work between visits.

     

    Expected Duration


    18 months - fixed term contract

     

    Salary

     

    £148 (£3.70 per hour)

     

    Working Hours

     

    Up to 42.5 hours per week

     

    Skills Required  

     

    • GCSEs (5 A* - C)
    • Experience of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
    • Ability to deliver excellent customer service
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
